AUGUST 29TH TO SEPTEMBER 1, 2008

The directors of the Brome County Agricultural Society are thrilled to announce the line-up for Brome Fair 2008.
Again this year, on Friday, Aug 29th  at 7:00 pm, the Adult Talent Competition (21 yrs ;and older competing) will be at the Entertainment Centre and the ever popular Horse Pull, sponsored by Picken’s Farm Equipment, returns in front of the grandstand at 7:30 pm. During the day Micky Farkas will entertain the children and help them discover their musicality.
Saturday, Aug 30th  at 2:00 pm the Youth Talent Contest, sponsored by Coke, will highlight the varied talents of our local youth.  Saturday night’s grandstand entertainment features David Usher at 8:00 pm.  David Usher is the winner of 5 Junos including Pop Album of the year in 2002.
Sunday, Aug 31st  brings the always popular Big Parade with the livestock and farm machinery passing in front of the grandstand.  The evening show will be the ASTTQ Truck & Tractor Pull at 7:30 pm.
Monday Sept 1st , back by popular demand, is the pari-mutual horse racing at 1:00 pm.  Come and place your bets!  Also a special performance by Jaydee Bixby of Canadian Idol fame will be held in the entertainment Centre at 11:00 am
Also for your entertainment pleasure there is continuous activity in the Entertainment Centre and Gastoni Attractions at various time in front of the grandstand . Little Ray’s Reptiles are back again this year and there is a Petting Zoo for young and old to get “up close and personal with a wide variety of animals. The midway is another exciting spot to experience and all this is included in the gate admission of $10.00
New this year there will be animated educational sessions with various farm animals.  So come and have fun and maybe learn something too!
